It is also known as Chả giò, or Vietnamese Fried Spring Roll. Usually served as an appetizer, each piece has a savory mix of ground pork, vermicelli, wood ear mushrooms, and select vegetables. It is wrapped with rice paper giving it a different texture, and a chewy bite.
It is served with lettuce wrap, and our homemade dipping sauce, Nước Chấm.
This food is best consumed re-fried, like how the Vietnamese does it.
